The installation of Fr. Jacob Jacks as Pastor of St. John the Evangelist
This weekend we have the great joy of celebrating the formal installation of Fr. Jacob Jacks as Pastor of St. John the Evangelist. During the 10:45 a.m. Mass, Bishop William Wack, CSC, will officially install Fr. Jacob as our pastor. We are grateful for Bishop Bill's presence with us, for his faithful leadership of the Diocese of Pensacola-Tallahassee, and for entrusting Fr. Jacob with the pastoral care of our parish family.
We also extend our sincere thanks to everyone who has worked so hard to make this celebration beautiful and welcoming, especially our choir and music ministry, the Parish Council, the Association of St. Jude, the Council of Catholic Women, Young Professionals Fellowship, and the many volunteers who have generously given their time to prepare both the liturgy and the reception. Fr. Jacob, welcome to St. John!
We are truly grateful that you are here, and we look forward to growing together in faith under your pastoral leadership. Please know of our prayers as you begin this new chapter with our parish family.
