Preaching Series
Approaching the Sacred Liturgy
Our Sunday preaching series on the Mass continues this week with "Sacred and Profane." Together, we are slowing down, looking more closely at the Mass, and discovering more deeply the what, why, and how of the Sacred Liturgy. Previous homilies in the series are available on our YouTube channel for anyone who would like to catch up or revisit them. Search "St. John the Evangelist Panama City" on YouTube.

Feast of the Archangels
Tuesday, September 29th | 5:30pm
Join us for a special Mass 5:30 Mass on Tuesday September 29th celebrating Saints Michael, Gabriel, and Raphael, the Archangels.
This feast has a special significance for our diocese: St. Michael the Archangel is the primary patron of the Diocese of Pensacola-Tallahassee. Our diocese has a long connection to St. Michael, including the historic Basilica of St. Michael the Archangel in Pensacola, founded in 1781 and dedicated as a basilica in 2012.
Come celebrate this important feast with your parish family and ask the intercession of these three great servants of God.
