Abide & Grow
Christ is at work at St. John's. We invite you to respond with generosity that keeps us rooted in Him and bearing fruit together.

We invite you to Abide and Grow.

Abide and Grow, your questions answered.
If we're financially healthy, why are we launching a new parish stewardship program? This video aims to answer your questions.
A Message from our Pastor
Dear Family of St. John,
What a joy it is to be a part of this beautiful parish! Every Sunday, as we gather around the altar, I'm reminded how truly blessed we are. In John 15, Jesus says, "Whoever abides in me and I in him will bear much fruit." When we stay close to Him, through prayer, worship, and community - our lives bear fruit. I see that fruit every week here at St. John's, and I couldn't be more grateful.
God is doing something beautiful among us. More and more families are joining us at Mass, our OCIA program is growing, our school is the fullest it's been in years, and I see a renewed energy in so many ministries. New faces are becoming familiar ones, and the Spirit is alive in our pews, classrooms, and parish hall. These are signs that Christ is at work. God is moving here.
With this in mind, I invite you to respond to our parish's stewardship program: Abide and Grow. Please review the contents of this brochure and prayerfully consider how you and your family can play an active role in continuing the work of Jesus Christ through our parish community. Our goal is to increase our Sunday offertory contributions to respond to the growth Jesus Christ is bringing to our parish. It is only through your generous support that we can provide any ministry in our parish.
We are inviting members of our community to come together and make a financial commitment that will allow St. John the Evangelist to continue its important work. We are counting on you! As we Abide and Grow together, connected to the Lord, we can continue to build something beautiful for the Lord and grow in transforming union with Christ.
Thank you for the many ways you already love, serve, and support St. John's. I'm so grateful to share this journey with you.
Peace, and God Bless you,

Fr. Thomas Kennell

Catholic Sharing Appeal
Support the Diocese of Pensacola-Tallahassee
The Catholic Sharing Appeal was instituted when the Diocese of Pensacola-Tallahassee was formed in 1975. Established without many reserves of its own, the diocese and parishes relied upon this vital funding source to carry on essential operations to survive as a local Church.
Today, CSA continues to be used to allocate funds at the diocesan level for expenses that extend past the parish for regional responsibilities, while parishes retain funds received in excess of the goal for capital projects and programs within their parish.
