At a Glance

Dead Theologians Society (DTS) is a Catholic ministry for high school students. Each evening includes dinner, a look at the life of a saint, discussion of the faith, a decade of the Rosary, and prayers for the souls in purgatory.

Hosted by Nick and Paeter Labrie with a team of trained and background-checked adult volunteers, DTS meets on select Sundays from 5:00–6:30 p.m. at the Labrie home (address provided with registration), with teens welcome to stay until 7:00 p.m. for fellowship.

Parents are welcome to stay, and teens are encouraged to invite their friends. For more information, contact Nick Labrie at [email protected] or 850-786-2954.

About

"For you have died, and your life is hid with Christ in God."
- Colossians 3:3

Dead Theologians Society (DTS) is a Catholic apostolate that forms high school students to become the saints of tomorrow through the witness of the saints of yesterday. At DTS, we come to know the men and women who have gone before us in faith, asking for their intercession and learning how their lives can inspire our own.

At the heart of every DTS gathering is the mystery of the Communion of Saints. As members of the Church Militant, we unite ourselves with the Church Triumphant in heaven and pray for the Church Suffering in purgatory. Together we pray, learn, discuss the Catholic faith, and encourage one another to live as faithful disciples of Jesus Christ.

In a culture that offers so many competing voices, the saints provide authentic examples of what it means to live a life fully given to Christ. Inspired by St. Paul's words to be "dead to sin and alive to God in Christ Jesus" (Rom 6:11), Dead Theologians Society invites every teen to discover that holiness is not only possible, but the adventure for which they were created.
