A Letter from Fr. Kennell

Dear Parish Family & Friends,

You may have noticed the beautiful new altar cloth in our church. This was made possible through the generosity of those who supported our fall fundraising event.  Thank you! The altar is the very heart of the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, where Christ becomes truly present to us in the Eucharist. Thank you for your desire and support in offering Him the very best in our worship!

I am also pleased to share that we are once again partnering with St. Dominic’s for Vacation Bible School this summer. This joyful week of faith formation will take place June 22–26 and is made possible by the dedicated staff and volunteers from both parishes. Registration opens this Sunday, April 26, and space is limited, so I encourage you to register early to reserve your spot. We are also in need of volunteers, so please consider lending your time and talents to help make this a meaningful experience for our young people.

Our annual Catholic Sharing Appeal (CSA) is off to a strong start.  We are already over two-thirds of the way to our $99,375 goal. Thank you to the 111 families who have contributed so far! Any amount raised beyond the goal returns to the parish, while any shortfall must be covered by our budget. These funds support important diocesan ministries, including priest formation, outreach to those in need, and children’s faith formation. If you have not yet made a gift, please consider doing so today using the QR code. Every gift helps!

Please pray for me, and know of my prayers for you.

Peace.

- Fr. Kennell
